Ideal Directories includes an Events feature so a business can display their events on their listing. All events must be associated with a Business Listing on the site. The event will be displayed on both their Business Listing Profile page and the Events page of your site.
STEP 1 - Once logged into your dashboard, click "Manage Listings."
STEP 2 - Click "Edit Listing" next to the listing you want to add an event to.
STEP 3 - Click "Events."
STEP 4 - Click "Add Event."
STEP 5 - Add the Event Details
Event details include the event's Image, Title, Description, Location, Dates and Times (Starts on, Starts at, Ends on, Ends at).
STEP 6 (OPTIONAL) - Make this a "Weekly Recurring Event"
To make the event a weekly recurring event, put a check mark in the box next to "This is a Weekly Recurring Event" prior to clicking Submit. Recurring events are great for promoting things like Weekly Meetings, Daily Restaurant Specials, Happy Hour, Live Music, and other events that occur on the same day and time each week. When you make an event a "Recurring Weekly Event" it will automatically update each week at the designated day and time.
STEP 5 - Click "Submit" to add the event
This is the page that appears after clicking Submit shows the event was successfully created, and lists the event along with the business's other events as they are added:
Please Note: Any event that is added to a business listing will be automatically added to the directory's Events page:
