Site-Wide Meta Tags are the default meta tags that can be applied to all of your directory website's pages. Adding site-wide meta tags ensures that all of your directory pages are optimized for search. You can also add unique meta tags for each individual page of your directory.
STEP 1 - Click on "General Settings" in the Dashboard
STEP 2 - Enter the Site-Wide Meta Tags, then click on "Save" at the bottom of the screen
Meta Tags consist of a Title, Description and Keywords. For your convenience, we offer an easy-to-follow templates for each meta tag that can be applied to your directory website.
Title tags are used to tell both users and search engines what each page is about.

The description meta tag gives Google and other search engines a summary of what the site/page is about. Include 1 - 2 sentences that provides a general overview of the website or content found on that page.

East Meadow Deals is a local business directory and coupon website for East Meadow, NY. Browse our website to find local businesses, coupons and events in and around East Meadow, NY.
Words or phrases that accurately describe the main features on the your directory website or page. For best results don’t use broad or general terms. Instead create specific key phrases that are “localized” for the particular directory. Try to narrow terms to 5 - 10 phrases and create unique terms for each individual page to reflect the particular content on that page.

STEP 3 - Apply Site-Wide Meta Tag settings to any of your site's pages
Click on "Pages" in the Dashboard, then click on "Edit" next to the page where you are going to apply the site-wide meta tags.
Scroll down to the SEO Meta Tags section and check the box next to "Use Site-Wide Meta Tags."
