You can add additional account users to grant staff access to your directory website and dashboard. Account Users is for staff only and should only be granted to trusted individuals as they will have access to the dashboard and can make changes that cannot be undone.
STEP 1 - Click on "Account Users" in the Dashboard
Once logged in to your dashboard, click "Account Users" on the left toolbar.
STEP 2 - Click "Add Account User"
Click "Add Account User" to add a new "Account User." You can also click "Edit" to manage an existing account like your own.
STEP 3 - Enter their account details
Enter the name, email and create a password for the new "Account User." Be sure to provide the user with these login credentials so they can access the dashboard.
STEP 4 - Choose a "Role" and assign "Permissions" (if applicable)
Choose the new user's "Role" and assign "Permissions" if you want to restrict a "Staff" user's access. Click on "Save" when complete.
Owner: "Owners" have unrestricted access to the platform. Only "Owners" can add, delete, or manage other "Account Users."
Staff: "Staff" only has access to the platform features you assign. Staff cannot add, delete or manage other users you create. Choose between unrestricted access or restrict their access to specific features that you assign.
Account User Permissions Explained
- Dashboard Revenue Statistics: Can view the revenue statistics for the directory including monthly recurring revenue and total revenue earned on the site.
- General Settings: Can view and edit everything on the General Settings tab in the Dashboard, including connecting a domain, changing the directory name, and connecting to Stripe.
- Appearance & Design: Can view and edit all of the settings on the Appearance & Design tab in the Dashboard, including uploading a logo, changing site colors, and uploading a hero image.
- Manage Pages: Can create new pages, and edit all existing pages in the directory.
- Manage Plans & Coupon Codes: Can edit all plans, pricing and coupon codes being used in the directory.
- Manage Categories: Can add/edit all categories being featured in the directory.
- Manage Listings: Can edit all listings, listing users, and listing details. Can also add new listings to the directory.
- Manage Listing Billing: Enabling this option will allow users to be able to manage each individual listing’s billing information.
- Manage Banner Ads: Can create new banner ads, and edit existing banner ads on the site.
- View Statistics: Can view traffic statistics including site visitors and page views from the Statistics tab of the Dashboard.
- Local Prospecting Tool: Can search for local businesses in the area using the tool that might be interested in advertising on the site.
- Subscriptions: Can view, remove and export all email subscribers.
- Search Engine Submission: Can submit the directory website to search engines. Users with this permission can also cancel search engine submission service.
- Manage Account Billing: Can edit the billing details associated with the directory account. Users with this permission will also receive email notifications about all payments including any past due invoices or cancellations.
STEP 5 - Account Users can login to the site by visiting the site and clicking "Admin" on the bottom right of the website.
